Kiss My Glass- Summer Birds Nightlight or Suncatcher Workshop

Event Description:
Please join us for a fun Spring Birds workshop. I will bring a mixture of colored glass in a spring theme. You will be designing from a photo and there is plenty of room to add your own creativity.
You will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and delivered back to the Farmhouse the following week. Pickup dates will be determined.
This type of class does require you to work at your own pace from simple instructions. No experience is necessary, however, I will give you a quick set of designing tips in the beginning and then you will be provided the glass to create your project. If you can assemble a puzzle, you can design it! 95% of this design will already be pre-cut for you.
Due to Covid restrictions, you may bring your own beverage in a covered container but no food allowed. You must be masked up throughout the class. This is a fundraising event for the Farmhouse. Doors will open 15 min prior to the event. Thank you for your support!

Flag Day Painting! Class!

Join us on Flag Day to create this painting celebrating Old Glory!
No experience necessary as our Artist
Laurel will lead you step by step in the painting process.
Laurel has been teaching painting to all ages and experience levels.
Each painting is 16 by 20.
The cost of this arting event is $35.00 with a
portion going back to the Straight Farmhouse.
You are welcome to bring
wine or your favorite adult beverage.

Fairy Garden Workshop

June 24 at 6:30pm

Time to have some fun in the dirt!!
Sign up for this Fairy/Gnomes Garden Workshop. The Farmhouse is pleased to have back Glenda Albright, of Glenda’s Whimsical Gardens, to walk you through making your very own fairy or gnome garden. For $30 ($10 of which will be donated back to The Straight Farmhouse!) you will receive everything you need to leave with a complete Fairy Garden. The workshop will be held outdoors if weather permits, if not, we will hold the event inside the Grande Parlour

Beautiful Up-cycled Garden Plate Ornament

June 26: 4:30-6:30pm.
Cost: $47

Come assemble a beautiful up-cycled Garden Plate Ornament. We will show you how! Workshop located at the Garden City Straight Farmhouse.
At this time, processing your online registration will hold your spot. (payment is not required at this time) Please process your online registration by clicking on the ‘free ticket’. However, the event is not free. It is $47 . You will love this so much that you will want to make more than one so we are working on special pricing for multiple items. Payment arrangements will be sent out mid May. If weather permits, this will be an outdoor event. Bring your own chair and favorite beverage and hang out with us a while!
Grab a friend and join us for this awesome workshop. We will show you how to assemble a beautiful garden plate ornament. There will be lots of different sizes and colors of plates to build from. We will attach them using a caulk gun and an industrial strength outdoor adhesive (loctite ultimate outdoor powergrab adhesive)
If the class is held indoors, you may bring your own beverage in a covered container but no food allowed. You must be masked up throughout the indoor class. This is a fundraising event for the Farmhouse. Material, class fee and rental fee is included in the cost. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to class time. Thank you for your support!
