Bee Kind Beehive Windchime Class

Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 6-8:30pm

Join us for a buzzing good time at the “Bee kind” Beehive Workshop!

Cost- $36 All supplies provided.

Beautiful creation to hang in your garden or from your porch.

Learn how easy it is to work with glass and create your very own beehive with our expert guidance. Some of the glass will already be cut for you and you can add your personal touch and creativity.

The workshop will be held at The Straight Farmhouse Museum, 6221 Merriman Road, Garden City, MI, USA . Come have fun with us!
Workshop is appropriate for age 10+ (due to limited seating, children will need to be accompanied by a paid adult) If you chose to pay by mail, an email will be sent out 3-4 weeks prior to class. Glass cutting and assembly. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and delivered within 2 weeks back to the class location. An email will be sent out when ready for pickup.

Refund Policy: Sorry, there are no refunds for this class. If an emergency arises, and you are not able to attend, there are 2 options. 1) you may send someone in your place or 2) You have the option of choosing another piece designed by the instructor in lieu of your empty seat. Glass Lantern Workshop

Join us for this gorgeous 3 panel fused glass lantern.

Get ready to unleash your creativity with this beautiful 15″ lantern that will illuminate your home or garden. This metal lantern has 6 sides and you will get to create 3 fused glass panels with your choice of making flowers or another simple theme. (The other 3 panels have a metal design on them)
Let our expert instructor guide you through the process of selecting your glass colors to making something beautiful. No prior experience is required.

Doors open at 6:15 pm.

This class will be held at the Historic Oddfellows Hall (white building next to the Straight Farmhouse Museum. 6121 Merriman Rd., Garden City, MI 48135). We will be on the lower level, so attendees will need to use the staircase.

Feel free to bring your own beverage with a lid. Due to the use of resin, no food will be allowed.

A portion of every ticket price will be donated as a fundraiser to the Straight Farmhouse Museum.

Stained Glass and Concrete Stepping Stones

Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2pm.

In this workshop we will show you how to create your own one of a kind unique steppingstone. You will choose the colors of your glass or ceramic for your design, we have several to choose from or you can design you own.

2 stones for $ 38

8-inch stones approx. 2 inches thick.
