A Little Pumpkin Patch

Lighted Needle Felted Fall Centerpiece

Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 6PM

Create a charming needle felted pumpkin patch centerpiece that will bring a little warmth to your home all autumn long.

In this workshop, you’ll use soft wool to needle felt a few pumpkins and arrange them on a natural 7 inch diameter wood slice to create your own miniature pumpkin patch.

We’ll use beautiful hues of green and brown wool to create the garden, leaves, and winding vines, then finish the scene with acorns, a charming wooden sign, stepping stones, a tiny picket fence, and warm fairy lights. The result is a cozy centerpiece that looks just as beautiful during the day as it does glowing in the evening.

We’ll guide you step by step as you sculpt wool into pumpkins and build your own unique autumn scene. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a handmade decoration you’ll look forward to displaying year after year.

Majestic Fused Glass Garden Stake

Thursday, January 14, 2027 at 6:15PM

I’ve been wanting to make this piece for a long time and now it’s finally come to fruition!

These large plants stakes were made by Jan Moore and her 92 year old mother who live in Ohio. I own all 4 of these pieces and I LOVE them in my gardens. I finally found a welder who made the rebar setup for the backside of the large glass piece 18″ tall x 4″ wide and rebar is 30-32″ tall. Easily inserts into ground. (rebar setup included).
Cost: from $80

You will make 1 glass piece and will be assembled for you with silicone adhesive. Although this is a large project, doesn’t mean it is an advanced class. Really, anyone can do it. No experience needed; just the eagerness to learn. The instructor will show you how to cut and assemble. This class is appropriate for adults of all ages.

You can make any design that you wish. However, please note that the design cost is meant to be a 60/40 project. What that means is that you can use 60% colored glass and the other 40% will be a complete fill in with clear glass. If you wish to use all colored glass throughout your project, there will be an additional charge of $10.

You will create your design by cutting and glueing in class. All projects will be kiln fired by Laurie with Kiss My Glass, prepped and assembled (where required) and carefully packaged for delivery to the class location in about 10-12 days. An email will be sent out with pickup instructions.

Drinks that are covered are ok in the venue but food and glass do not mix. Wine is ok too. Please wear closed toed shoes.

If you would like to pay by mail, please chose the “Comp Ticket” option. Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event.
Doors will open 10 min early if time allows.
Please let your friends and family know about the fun!

Wet Felted Wool Art

Wednesday, January 27, 2027 at 6PM

This date is tentative.

Tickets and final date will be announced in December. Discover the creative possibilities of wet felting as you transform soft wool fibers into a beautiful piece of fiber art. In this workshop, you’ll begin by creating your own felt “canvas” from raw wool using traditional wet felting techniques. Once your foundation is complete, you’ll layer colorful wool fibers to design and create a unique felted scene. Most participants choose to follow along with one of several inspirational designs provided in class, such as landscapes, flowers, trees, and other nature-inspired artwork. You’re also welcome to bring your own inspiration. This can be a favorite photo, an image saved on your phone, or printed reference.

As you build your artwork, you’ll learn how color, texture, and fiber placement work together to create depth, interest, and visual impact. No two pieces are ever alike, making this a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity while learning the art of wet felting.
Your finished artwork will be approximately 10″ x 12″ and can be framed and displayed at home or incorporated into future fiber projects.
At the end of class, we’ll briefly discuss how needle felting can be used at home to add additional detail and dimension to finished felted artwork. This is a demonstration and discussion only; the project itself is completed using wet felting techniques.
No prior felting experience is necessary. Whether you’re completely new to fiber arts or looking to expand your creative skills, this workshop offers a fun, relaxing, and rewarding introduction to the art of wet felting.

New classes are added often. Please check back soon!
