Easy Glass Mosaic Garden Ornament Class

Come join us for a fun and creative Glass Mosaic Garden Ornament. Approx size 6 – 8″.

This in-person event is simple and fun and easy enough for a beginner. It’s a perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing evening crafting and enjoying this unique experience!

Cost: $38.

The base piece will be cut for you and we will work with glass that is easy to design with, and minimal to no cutting (it’s up to you). There will be plenty of scrap pieces you can use if you don’t want to cut at all).

All materials will be provided. No experience is needed.

Appropriate for children age 10+ who are accompanied by a paid adult (need to purchase 2 spots).

All projects will go home with the instructor to kiln fire and will be delivered back to the class location in approx 10-12 days. An email will be sent out with pick-up instructions.

If you’d like to pay by mail, please chose the “Comp Ticket” option. An email will be sent approx 30 days prior to the event with mailing instructions.

Closed toe shoes and covered drink containers are ok but food and glass do not mix. Doors will open 10 min prior to class if time allows.

3-D Tumblers Workshop

Beginner Level sculpted tumbler.

This workshop is age friendly for all ages, we teach you color choice and how to sculpt your own cow or pig tumbler using special sculpting materials. The tumbler will then be completed off site with 3-4 more coats of resin where sayings can be added for a small fee and returned to you a 2-3 weeks later.

Mystery Tumblers Class

Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 3pm

Mystery Tumblers are back!

Come create your own unique stainless steel tumber. We bring a selection of Tumblers to choose from everyone is guaranteed a 20 oz (All tumblers come with a closable lid and straw), you choose your technique the day of the event.

Choose from:

-Acrylic Paint pour

-Alcohol Ink Tumblers, also known as our watercolor tumblers.

-Fabric Tumblers — This technique you will bring a 1/4 yard of cotton material or your color choice, we don’t recommend white fabrics. You can use a design that has white but white cannot be your dominant color.

You can also customize with one of our standard sayings for $ 5 or add your own custom saying for $ 8.

Tumblers will be ready for pick up 3-4 weeks from the event and will be available for pickup during regular museum hours.

Painting Class: Ruby's Blossom

Needle Felted Framed Workshop

(Daisy or Sunflower)

It’s like a paint-and-pour night, but with wool!

Join us for a relaxed and creative summer workshop where you’ll needle felt your choice of a sunny sunflower or a cheerful daisy with a little bee.

Learn how to “paint” with wool using simple techniques, no experience needed. Choose from three frame colors to finish your 6-inch piece. Whether you’re new to felting or already love working with wool, this class offers a peaceful, creative way to learn something new and enjoy the gentle rhythm of summer.

All materials provided, just bring yourself.

Circle of Flowers Fused Glass Workshop (advanced)

The June 5th class sold out so quickly so I added another. You are welcome to attend both if you wish……so many beautiful flowers we can make!

Please join us for this beautiful “Circle of Flowers” workshop where we will make a 10″ circle of beautiful flowers, any color or design of your choice.

You can purchase with or without the metal stand. This is an advanced class……..You must have a minimum of 5 basic glass cutting classes with me. Thank you!

Cost: $88 with a stand.

You will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and will be delivered back to the class location in about 14 days.

An email will be sent out with pickup instructions.

Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

Upcycled Garden Plate

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the Upcycled Garden Plate Flower Workshop in Garden City, where we’ll create beautiful flower art!

Cost: $30 (ground stake included). or, Make 2 for $50

All materials will be provided. No experience needed. Choose from a selection of over 200 upcycled tableware, including vintage, china, ceramic and glass plates in an assortment of colors and patterns. (see next photo example) We will assemble together in class.

These are saucer-sized plates approx 6″. You will receive 3-4 pieces per project and we will learn how to assemble in class using an industrial strength adhesive durable for the outdoors. We will also attach a holder onto the back for easy insertion onto your ground stake.

This class is appropriate for children age 10+ who are accompanied by a paid adult (need to purchase 2 spots)

This is a take home project. Please bring 1 box per project and newspaper or rags to prop your project in to take home safely. Box size about 12″ wide x 5″ deep. Please leave your box and stuffing inside your car until the end of the class, thank you!

Bring your own beverage and snacks if you wish.
