Circle of Flowers Fused Glass Workshop (advanced)

The June 5th class sold out so quickly so I added another. You are welcome to attend both if you wish……so many beautiful flowers we can make!
 
Please join us for this beautiful “Circle of Flowers” workshop where we will make a 10″ circle of beautiful flowers, any color or design of your choice.
 
You can purchase with or without the metal stand. This is an advanced class……..You must have a minimum of 5 basic glass cutting classes with me. Thank you!
 
Cost: $88 with a stand.
$65 without

You will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and will be delivered back to the class location in about 14 days.
An email will be sent out with pickup instructions.
 
Drinks that are covered are ok in the venue but food and glass do not mix. Wine is ok too!
 
Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event.
 
Doors will open 10 min early if time allows.

Upcycled Garden Plate

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the Upcycled Garden Plate Flower Workshop in Garden City, where we’ll create beautiful flower art!
Cost: $30 (ground stake included). or, Make 2 for $50

All materials will be provided. No experience needed. Choose from a selection of over 200 upcycled tableware, including vintage, china, ceramic and glass plates in an assortment of colors and patterns. (see next photo example) We will assemble together in class.

These are saucer-sized plates approx 6″. You will receive 3-4 pieces per project and we will learn how to assemble in class using an industrial strength adhesive durable for the outdoors. We will also attach a holder onto the back for easy insertion onto your ground stake.

This class is appropriate for children age 10+ who are accompanied by a paid adult (need to purchase 2 spots)
This is a take home project. Please bring 1 box per project and newspaper or rags to prop your project in to take home safely. Box size about 12″ wide x 5″ deep. Please leave your box and stuffing inside your car until the end of the class, thank you!
Bring your own beverage and snacks if you wish.
If you’d like to pay by mail, please choose the Comp Ticket option and about 4 weeks prior to class, you will receive an email with payment mailing instructions.

Here Comes the Bride- The History of Weddings.

Join us for an enchanting evening of Fashion and the History of Weddings!
 
Step back in time as we explore wedding trends from the 1800s to today’s latest styles. Watch history come to life as our models showcase a selection of stunning vintage gowns, highlighting how fashion has evolved through the years.
 
The evening begins in the Historic Oddfellows Hall with a fashion show of bridal gowns. From there, we’ll move to the Grande Parlour for a traditional cake and punch reception featuring the cutting of the bridal cake, along with delightful fun facts about wedding traditions.
 
To conclude, you’ll be invited to explore our special exhibit featuring more than 60 wedding gowns on display, along with fascinating artifacts from weddings of the past.
