Felted Forest Gnomes

In this fun and whimsical workshop where you’ll create your very own needle-felted forest gnomes (make up to 3!) Each gnome will have a unique look! Choose from a variety of colors and textures to make your gnome unique!
In this workshop you can make a few little ones or one large felted gnome up to 6 inches high. Your gnome will sit on its very own tree stump or log, adding a charming touch to any space.
Whether you choose to follow the shop samples or let your imagination run wild, this class is perfect for anyone looking to craft something magical! All materials provided—just bring your creativity!

Lavender Fields Fused Glass

Please join us for this beautiful “Lavender Fields” workshop where we will make beautiful lavender flowers on your choice of a nightlight or suncatcher.
All materials will be provided and this class can be considered a beginners class as you can choose not to cut at all. Simple glass cutters will be provided for those who do.
No experience needed. The instructor will show you how easy it is to assemble just like a puzzle and make your flowers beautiful! This class is appropriate for children age 10+ who are accompanied by a paid adult and cut the glass for them (need to purchase 2 spots).
You will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and will be delivered back to the class location in about 10-12 days. An email will be sent out with pick-up instructions.
Drinks that are covered are ok in the venue but food and glass do not mix. Wine is ok too!
If you would like to pay by mail, please chose the “Comp Ticket” option. Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

Cocktail Class: Spring and Summer Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

Non-alcoholic cocktails are one of the hottest trends around right now, and in this class Rebecca will teach you how to make some amazing ones for spring and summer. She’ll also provide tips about how to add the booze back in if you want that, and ways to approach taking the booze out of a cocktail you’d like to make non-alcoholic.
Whether you’re mixing NA drinks for yourself or want to be able to serve something special up to your non-drinking friends, this class has got you covered!
This class will feature hands on making of 8 zero-proof cocktails that teach infusing syrups, using tea, and mudding in produce.
Your booking includes light snacks (pretzels, nuts). The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of non-alcoholic cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to around 2 cocktails per person over the 2 hour class.
Please note that we have a restricted table layout and use communal seating. Parties of two will almost always be seated with at least one other party of two. Groups of four or more will usually have their own table. You may request a private table in the “seat with” section of the booking form, and we will attempt to honor your request, but there is no guarantee that one will be available.

Beaded Driftwood Suncatcher

Please join us for this Beautiful Hanging Driftwood Suncatcher.
Come craft with us for this new class using driftwood gathered from Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. We will be drilling holes in the driftwood so that we can assemble this beautiful suncatcher in class. Take home to decorate your porch, yard, garden or indoors! (I keep mine on my porch all year round; it’s one of my favorite crafting creations!)
Photos are examples of pieces already made. All beads and focal point anchors are going to be different. Almost no 2 alike. So many beautiful choices!
No experience needed, just be sure to wear your working (outdoor) clothes and safety equipment like goggles or gloves if you wish. Your project will be ready to go home with you to display right away!
YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN DRILL. A Cordless is preferred but you can bring a corded one. The number of outlets is limited. If you do not have a drill, please borrow one. Drill bits will be supplied.

All materials will be provided. You can chose to cut the glass to your liking, or easy enough for a beginner if you’d like to assemble your own flower design using the glass that’s already been cut.

Easy Glass Mosaic Garden Ornament Class

This in-person event is simple and fun and easy enough for a beginner. It’s a perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing evening crafting and enjoying this unique experience!

3-D Tumblers Workshop

Beginner Level sculpted tumbler.
This workshop is age friendly for all ages, we teach you color choice and how to sculpt your own cow or pig tumbler using special sculpting materials. The tumbler will then be completed off site with 3-4 more coats of resin where sayings can be added for a small fee and returned to you a 2-3 weeks later.

Mystery Tumblers are back!
Come create your own unique stainless steel tumber. We bring a selection of Tumblers to choose from everyone is guaranteed a 20 oz (All tumblers come with a closable lid and straw), you choose your technique the day of the event.

Choose from:
-Acrylic Paint pour
-Alcohol Ink Tumblers, also known as our watercolor tumblers.
-Fabric Tumblers — This technique you will bring a 1/4 yard of cotton material or your color choice, we don’t recommend white fabrics. You can use a design that has white but white cannot be your dominant color.
You can also customize with one of our standard sayings for $ 5 or add your own custom saying for $ 8.
Tumblers will be ready for pick up 3-4 weeks from the event and will be available for pickup during regular museum hours.
